Laser Therapy

There are many studies and research behind the clinical effectiveness of laser therapy.

During each painless treatment, an infrared light is used that interacts with the tissues at a cellular level. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain.

Our team is fully trained and prepared to provide this amazing new service to help all of our patients in various ways. Our laser treatment will be included in our regular care, specifically for our surgery patients to reduce post operative pain and inflammation.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does laser therapy work?
Laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, stiffness and pain.

What does the patient feel during a treatment?
There is little or no sensation during a treatment. Occasionally, the patient feels mild, soothing warmth, or tingling sensations. Areas of pain or inflammation may be sensitive briefly before pain reduction.

Why is laser therapy used in clinic?
We have added this to FVC because we want to provide an effective and safe treatment option for our patients to heal quickly, recover fully and reduce pain effectively.
